The Vertical Band Resawing Machine is built for heavy-duty lumber processing and reinforced with an extra-thick steel frame for enhanced durability and long-term stability. At the core of its performance is a special alloy cast iron crowned flywheel, designed to provide smoother operation, precise tracking, and consistent cutting under pressure.
This machine includes a standard lubrication system, ensuring the longevity of critical components while reducing maintenance downtime. Engineered for flexibility, the Vertical Band Resawing Machine is capable of cutting logs up to 500mm (19 11/16″) in height and offers two additional cutting range options to suit specific processing requirements. The minimum log height it can handle is 30mm (1 3/16″), making it suitable for a wide range of log sizes and applications.
Power is delivered through two motor configurations–40HP or 50HP–depending on the desired level of cutting performance. The machine’s average weight is either 4,200kg (9,259 lbs) or 3,900kg (8,597 lbs), depending on the selected setup.
