Description
The Loading and Unloading Elevator is a highly efficient lifting platform designed to improve the workflow at the entry and exit points of industrial machines. Positioned at these critical areas, the elevator assists operators by automatically adjusting its height according to the thickness of the workpiece once it is manually placed on the platform. This eliminates repetitive bending and lifting, significantly increasing both ergonomics and productivity.
The Loading and Unloading Elevator operates using a hydraulic or pneumatic lifting system, which powers a flat or roller-up platform. The platform moves smoothly up and down, controlled either by the automatic photocell sensors or a foot-pedal, depending on the configuration. Available in fixed or wheeled versions, the system is highly adaptable and can be integrated with a variety of machinery in multiple sectors, including woodworking, metalworking, and packaging.
In roller-top models, the rollers become active only when the Loading and Unloading Elevator is in its lowest position, allowing materials to move freely. Once elevated, the rollers deactivate, preventing unintended movement. The Loading and Unloading Elevator has a closed height of just 250mm (9 13/16″), making it perfectly level with roller conveyor systems, ensuring seamless transfer of materials in automated production environments.
