Description
The PLA CA and PLCC Press Line is a panel pressing line composed of material loading, gluing, positioning, pressing, and unloading systems. The line can be configured with different handling, positioning, storage, and unloading systems according to production requirements.
The PLA CA and PLCC Press Line begins with a hydraulic lifting platform that automatically positions the panel stack so that an electropneumatic pusher can transfer the upper panel to the following station, such as a brushing or gluing machine. Panels with a thickness of at least 10mm can be handled directly by the pusher, while suction cups are used for panels thinner than 10mm.
Following gluing and preparation of the coating materials, the PLA CA and PLCC Press Line uses positioning systems to facilitate the alignment and overlapping of the panel with veneer, laminate, or other coating material before pressing.
Pusher on Lifting Platform:
The hydraulic lifting platform automatically positions the panel stack so that the pneumatic pusher can transfer the upper panel to the next station, such as a brushing or gluing machine.
- Hydraulic lifting platform
- Electropneumatic panel pusher
- Handles panels with a minimum thickness of 10mm
- Suction cups are used for panels thinner than 10mm
Disc Road:
The disc road receives the panel from the gluing machine and can be motorized or idle. The discs minimize contact with the glue layer during panel movement and stopping.
Standard Equipment:
- Welded steel profile structure with adjustable height
- Galvanized sheet metal tub for bathing the discs during rotation
- Stainless steel discs designed to avoid glue incrustation
- Motorized stainless steel disc-holder bars
- Self-lubricating ball bearings
Storage Station for Coating Materials:
The PLA CA and PLCC Press Line can incorporate either a fixed or mobile storage station for coating materials such as veneer and laminate.
Fixed Storage Station:
Fixed storage shelves can be installed above the disc road. The operator manually selects the required coating and positions it below or above the panel on the loading carpet.
Mobile Storage Station:
A mobile storage station can be installed beside the loading mat and operated using a foot switch. The shelves move forward and backward over the disc path, bringing the coating materials toward the operator for placement on the loading carpet.
Loading Mat:
The loading mat consists of a welded steel profile picture structure with adjustable height to compensate for differences in floor level.
- PVC surface for easier cleaning of two-component polyurethane glue residues
- Carpet entering and tension adjustment system
- Pulse pedal control for material loading
- Motorized carpet
- Adjustable speed via inverter
Positioner:
The positioned facilitates the overlapping and alignment of the panel exiting the gluer with the veneer or laminate previously positioned on the loading carpet.
Automatic Chain Positioner:
Disc-holder bars emerge from beneath the preparation table to move the panel into position. After positioning, the bars return to their initial position and the panel is held by a stop.
Automatic Trolley Positioner:
A pneumatic piston system holds the panel with light pressure against the contrast bar below. The positioner transfers the panel onto the loading mat and places it for composition.
Manual Positioner with Pneumatic Pistons:
Pneumatic pistons lock the panel onto the positioner. The operator manually moves the trolley onto the loading mat and places the panel in the desired position.
PLA CA and PLCC Press Line Models:
PLA CA Press
- S275JR steel beam structure, assembled and welded
- Rotating belt system for panel loading and unloading inside the press
- Specific pressure up to approximately 5 kg/cm²
PLCC Press
- Closed-loop structure made from modular oxy-cut steel sheets without welding
- Rotating belt system for panel loading and unloading inside the press
- Specific pressure greater than 5 kg/cm²
Exhaust Systems:
The PLA CA and PLCC Press Line can use different systems for handling panels after the pressing cycle.
Wheeled Unloader:
At the end of the pressing cycle, rotation of the internal press belt automatically transfers the panels onto the wheeled unloader. The panels move along the table by gravity.
- Welded steel profile structure
- Adjustable height to compensate for differences in floor level
Motorized Roller Bar:
The panels automatically exit the press onto the motorized roller unloader at the end of the pressing cycle. The motorized rollers can transfer the pressed panels to the following station.
- Motorized roller transport
- Welded steel profile structure
- Adjustable height
Swing Stacking System:
The stacking system allows panels to be stacked into a pile at the end of the line for subsequent handling. The conveyor deposits the panel and then automatically lifts to position the following panel.
The PLA CA and PLCC Press Line combines the different stages of panel handling and pressing into a configurable line, with options for panel loading, coating storage, positioning, pressing, unloading, and stacking. Depending on the required pressure, the PLA CA and PLCC Press Line can be configured with either the PLA CA press for specific pressures up to approximately 5 kg/cm² or the PLCC press for specific pressures greater than 5 kg/cm².
