Description
The MDL Multidaylight Line is an automatic pressing line designed to press multiple panels or doors simultaneously. An automatic elevator loading system allows multiple panels or doors to be inserted into multiple pressing compartments at the same time.
The MDL Multidaylight Line can be equipped with a single multi-daylight press or with two overlapping, independent presses for higher production volumes. With the double press configuration, the two blocks of press planes operate independently and can be programmed with different parameters, including size, pressing time, thrust, and cylinder exclusion.
During operation, the operator manually loads doors or panels one at a time onto the powered mats. After each piece is loaded, the elevator moves to the loading height of the press floors. Once the previous pressing cycle is complete, the motorized feed mats automatically transfer the new doors or panels into the press while the previously pressed materials are discharged onto the discharge elevator.
While the materials are being pressed, the elevator can be used to prepare and load the next set of parts, allowing the MDL Multidaylight Line to maintain a continuous production process.

Independent Press Control:
The two blocks of press planes on the MDL Multidaylight Line are independent and can be programmed with different parameters for:
- Material size
- Pressing time
- Thrust
- Cylinder exclusion
This allows one block to process smaller pieces at lower pressure while the other processes larger pieces at higher pressure.
Loading and Discharge System:
The load elevator uses powered feed mats to position doors and panels at the required press level. When the press opens, the feed mats transfer the next set of materials into the press while the pressed materials are simultaneously transferred onto the discharge elevator.
The discharge elevator is equipped with rollers and belts to facilitate uniform cooling. It is synchronized with the load elevator, although discharge can also be activated independently from the loading system when required by specific production needs.
Standard Equipment:
- Load elevator with feed mats
- Double multi-daylight press
- Pre-filled hydraulic system
- Conveyor mats on the lower floors
- Digital touchscreen control panel with PLC
- Diathermal oil heating
- Discharge elevator with rollers and belts for cooling pressed materials
Optional Equipment:
The MDL Multidaylight Line can be equipped with various additional stations and handling systems, including:
- Preparation and bonding stations before the load elevator
- Platform with pusher
- Robot or suction cup bridge for feeding roller conveyors
- Brushing machine
- Gluing machine
- Disc route
- Positioner
- Preparation table with 90° translator for door composition
- Motorized roller conveyor with 90° shifter after the load elevator
- Cooling system
- Additional roller conveyor with 90° shifter and automatic centering system
- Suction bridge
- Palletizing robot
- Automatic bonding and loading system
The optional cooling system receives the pressed doors or panels, lifts them through a wide circular movement, and gently places them onto another motorized table. During this movement, the materials have time to cool before proceeding to the next operation.
The MDL Multidaylight Line combines multi-compartment pressing with synchronized loading and discharge systems for the simultaneous processing of multiple doors or panels. It is independent press blocks and available automation options allow the MDL Multidaylight Line to accommodate different production parameters within the same system.
