The Fully Automatic C Straight Cut Twin Pillar Saw BMSO-460C is a fully automatic horizontal band saw engineered for 90-degree straight cutting of solid stocks, tubes, and profiles made from steel, cast iron, and nonferrous materials. Designed with a durable linear way system and fabricated entirely from steel, this machine is built for long-term precision and high-volume performance in demanding metal cutting operations.
The Fully Automatic C Straight Cut Twin Pillar Saw BMSO-460C features a hardened rear jaw driven by an electric motor through a worm and wheel mechanism, while the front vice consists of free-running rollers. Once the workpiece is clamped between the rollers, no additional clamping is necessary, streamlining the cutting process. A limit switch mounted above the vice automatically halts the machine when the material is depleted, ensuring safety and efficiency.
The feeding mechanism includes a bar stop equipped with a micro-switch that controls the bar feed motor, and a piece counter that monitors the total number of cuts. In case of blade breakage, the machine stops automatically to prevent further damage. Standard features include a bi-metal saw blade and a 47 1/4″ (1200mm) in-feed roller table, supporting smooth and consistent material handling. The coolant system includes a removable tank and submerged electric pump, supplying fluid to both guide assemblies for optimal blade life and cutting performance.
